Welcome to Clypzo, an Android screen recorder that helps you record screen videos, capture screenshots, record gameplay, use audio (internal sound on Android 10+ and microphone), enable facecam, and draw/annotate on the screen. Your privacy is important to us.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Personal Information

We do not require you to create an account and we do not ask for personally identifiable information to use Clypzo.

1.2 Device & Diagnostic Information

To improve app performance and stability, we may collect limited non-personal information such as:

• Device model and Android version
• App diagnostics (crash logs, error logs)
• Basic usage analytics (for example, which features are used)

This information is used only for troubleshooting and improving the app.

1.3 Screen Recording, Audio, Facecam Content

Clypzo records screen/audio/camera overlay only when you start a recording session. We do not:

• Record your screen in the background
• Upload or store your recordings on our servers
• Access, view, or analyze your screen recordings

Your videos and screenshots are stored locally on your device unless you choose to share them through other apps.

• Improve functionality and user experience

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information.

3. Permissions

Clypzo may request the following permissions to work correctly:

• Screen Capture – required to record your screen
• Microphone – required only if you enable mic audio
• Storage – to save recordings and screenshots
• Overlay – to show floating controls and facecam overlay
• Camera – required only if you enable facecam

You can manage permissions in your Android settings. Some features may not work if permissions are denied.

4. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services for analytics or crash reporting to improve performance. These services may process non-personal technical information (such as device identifiers and crash logs). Any third-party services used are expected to follow applicable privacy laws and Google Play policies.

5. Children’s Privacy

Clypzo is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable measures to protect non-personal diagnostic data. Your screen recordings are stored locally on your device, and you control sharing or deletion.
